HELPFUL HINTS:
- Make sure your transponder is mounted properly when traveling on the Ohio Turnpike. Transponders are read under the overhead lane signage. Do not wave, leave your transponder lying on your seat or in your glove compartment as you pass through the toll lanes.
- When approaching the gate, look for the appropriate signage to determine which lane you should enter. There are lanes that may be designated as E-ZPass Only, Tickets/E-ZPass or Tickets Only. To avoid delays to you and other motorists, please be sure to enter the proper lane.
- Do not exceed 10 MPH in any entrance or exit lane. This allows ample time for the reader to pick up your transponder and the gate to open for safe passage through the lane.
- If for any reason you have an issue on entrance, press the button for assistance or honk your horn. Please allow time for an employee to come over to assist you.
