SERVICE

The Commission remains committed to our trucking customers and we are working to develop additional programs and incentives to increase the frequency of travel on the Ohio Turnpike. Further information will be included on our website when available.

CONVENIENCE

TRUCKERS' LOUNGE
As you travel on the Turnpike, stop into our service plazas and enjoy the conveniences that you would enjoy in your own home.

	All service plazas have a designated area for truckers to rest and relax. The new plazas offer a lounge area with couches, tables and a set of televisions. There is also a designated indoor smoking area.
	All service plazas provide separate restroom and shower facilities for truckers.
	The new service plazas also have a coin-operated washer and dryer, and laundry detergent can be purchased for $1.00.

DISCOUNTS

The Ohio Turnpike Commission (Commission) offers a charge account program that extends toll credit to corporate customers that will exceed twelve hundred dollars ($1,200) in toll charges per year. The customer will be required to maintain a surety bond in full force and effect in an amount equal to four months' toll charges, with a minimum bond of $5,000.

Customers whose toll charges in any calendar month exceed $1,000 will be given a 15% volume discount on tolls in excess of $1,000. Credit for this volume discount will be shown on the invoice for the month and is allowed only if all previous invoices have been paid.

Customers desiring to avail themselves of this privilege are requested to access the Charge Account Application Package information and to print the terms and conditions, application and bond forms and mail the completed application and bond to the Comptroller of the Commission at the address noted on the application. Upon approval of such application, a supply of plastic charge cards will be sent to the customer indicating commencement of the charge account.

BESTPASS

BESTPASS reduces bonding requirements for commercial customers and may allow smaller-volume trucking customers to qualify for a volume discount. The program is being handled through the New York State Motor Truck Association, in conjunction with the Ohio Turnpike Commission. TRAVELER AMENITIES

	Truckers can enjoy the convenience of our service plazas (located approximately 30 miles apart) any time - day or night.
	Truckers can enjoy a variety of food choices at our service plazas including a sit-down restaurant- CLICK HERE for a list of restaurants and other services available at our plazas.
	Need to pick up something for a birthday, anniversary or special occasion - stop into any of our gift or retail shops along the toll road. Most offer various knick-knacks, sports memorabilia, film, batteries and other miscellaneous merchandise.
