Eastgate
Our Eastgate Toll Plaza at Milepost 239, at the eastern border with Pennsylvania, has been welcoming travelers from the Keystone State since 1954. In May of 2021, crews began site development for a revamped Easgate Toll Plaza. This updated facility will have state-of-the-art highway speed E-ZPass lanes. The highway speed E-ZPass lanes are often referred to as “Open Road Tolling” (ORT). ORT technology will allow E-ZPass users who are traveling the full length of the Ohio Turnpike to travel non-stop, with no toll lane gates, at highway speeds.
