NOTICE OF OPEN HOUSE FOR SERVICE STATION FUEL AND RETAIL CONCESSION OPERATORS

The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission will host an Open House for Service Station Fuel and Retail Concession Operators on July 16, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Middle Ridge Service Plaza, located at Mile Marker 139.5 Westbound in Amherst, Ohio.

In 2026, the Commission will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a single Service Station Fuel and Retail Concession Operator to operate 14 service stations, four convenience stores, and 20 fuel island kiosks servicing the roughly 15 million commercial and 40 million passenger vehicles traveling on the Ohio Turnpike annually.

Prior to issuing the RFP, this Open House will be held for the benefit of firms interested in learning more about the Service Station Fuel and Retail Concessions contract opportunity.

Commission representatives from Operations, Engineering/Maintenance, Contracts Administration and Procurement will be present to provide information about the Service Plazas, answer questions as well as solicit feedback from attendees regarding the upcoming RFP process.

When the RFP is issued, a notice will be sent by email to all vendors who provide contact information to the Procurement Department by completing the Vendor Login and selecting NAICS Code 447110. Questions regarding the Open House should be submitted by email to purchasing@ohioturnpike.org.

We ask that a maximum of three (3) representatives per firm attend the Open House.

Please RSVP at purchasing@ohioturnpike.org.
