How Does E-ZPass Work?
- The E-ZPass transponder is a radio frequency device.
- Mount the E-ZPass transponder as instructed.
- Use designated E-ZPass lanes when entering and exiting our roadway.
- Drive through the E-ZPass lane at posted speeds.
- As your vehicle enters the roadway, an antenna mounted below the
E-ZPass sign will read the transponder.
- The travel information is recorded by the transponder as you enter and exit.
- A toll amount is calculated and deducted from your E-ZPass account prepaid balance.
* You can only obtain an E-ZPass by calling our Customer Service Center, through our website or at any of our retail locations. E-ZPass is not available at our Administration Building.
